Invisalign – Chicago IL

What is Invisalign and how does it work ?

Invisalign is a set of clear, removable aligners that, when used over time, straighten teeth. If you are deemed a good candidate for Invisalign after a complimentary visit to one of our offices, you’ll receive a new aligner to wear every week or so. Each new aligner makes a small tooth movement and will eventually yield a set of straight teeth.

Why should I choose Invisalign ?

Invisalign aligners have many benefits over standard braces. Because they are removable, Invisalign wearers don’t have to make any dietary changes while undergoing treatment. They can also be removed to brush teeth and floss, which makes keeping up oral hygiene easier. Your visits to the orthodontist will also be shorter because there are no wire adjustments or adjustments required. But most importantly, Invisalign aligners are almost completely invisible.

What is Invisalign Express ?

Invisalign began offering Invisalign Express in 2012, which is aimed at patients who have minor orthodontic issues such as minor crowding or spacing. These treatments come in five and ten-stage options that are shorter in duration and cost less than traditional Invisalign.

What changes will I have to make to use Invisalign ?

Invisalign recommends that patients wear their aligners between 20 to 22 hours a day and only remove them when eating, drinking, brushing teeth and flossing. Some Invisalign users will have a slight lisp after beginning the treatment but should adapt to having the adapters in their mouth after a day or two.

Can any dentist give me Invisalign ?

Any dentist that wishes to use Invisalign with their patients must complete a special course created by Invisalign to make sure they are capable of taking care of their patients while using the treatment. Furthermore, dentists and orthodontists must reach a certain level of patients and experience before they are named a Preferred Provider by Invisalign. Dr. Yarmolyuk is proud to be an Invisalign Preferred Provider.

How much does Invisalign treatment cost ?

Treatment with Invisalign and Invisalign Teen costs between $3,000 and $6,000 depending on the length and complexity of the treatment. We also cannot tell you if your dental policy covers Invisalign since it differs from policy to policy, but a patient with general orthodontic coverage should be covered the same way as conventional braces. Schedule a visit to our office and we’ll be able to provide an exact price to you after a complimentary consultation.

Our orthodontist accepts Medical Card (Public Aid, Medicaid, All Kids insurance) for braces treatment.
